2023: The Mc Oluomo’s Effect

INSIDEMAINLAND– The Chairman of the Lagos State Parks and Garages Management Committee, Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, led various groups at a rally on Sunday in support of the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima.

The rally was also organized to support the re-election of Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his deputy, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, next year.

Various Tinubu supporters in Lagos have described the massive crowd that attended the rally as proof of the party’s popularity and challenged other parties to do the same.

MC Oluomo, along with a large number of supporters and Nollywood actors, joined thousands of participants in a solidarity walk from Surulere’s Teslim Balogun Stadium to Bolade-Oshodi in support of the APC candidates.

They defied the early morning rain and closed down the rally route to traffic.

Security personnel from the Nigeria Police Force, the Department of State Services, and the Lagos Neighbourhood Safety Corps were also present to protect the residents.

The five-million-person match dubbed the “Mother of All Rallies,” was the Lagos APC’s second pro-Tinubu rally.

On Monday, October 3, women participated in a solidarity walk to show their support for the APC presidential candidate.

In his address to the supporters, MC Oluomo stated that the walk had become necessary to demonstrate the massive support for Tinubu’s presidential ambition.

Akinsanya stated that the former Lagos state governor possesses the character, capacity, and competence to provide leadership that everyone in the country can be proud of.
