Ikorodu Monarch Speaks On Alleged Drug Burst

INSIDEMAINLAND– The Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, Oba Semiudeen Kasali, has complimented personnel of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency for discovering a warehouse in Ikorodu, Lagos Mainland where drugs worth N194 billion were discovered.

Kasali said in a statement that it was heartening to know that Nigeria’s military and paramilitary troops were working hard to rid the country of all types of criminality.

He said, “The recent smooth operation by the gallant officers of the NDLEA attests to how professional the agency is in investigating and unraveling such ignoble businesses by people. We equally applaud the support of the international agency that made the NDLEA achieve the feat with ease.

The monarch, who also praised the people of Ikorodu, asked residents and indigenes to refrain from indulging in any type of criminal activity in order to acquire money.

“Our youths must avoid partaking in any unpatriotic activity that could threaten the peace of the community and the nation at large,” he said.

Kasali stated that people of different tribes and nations should not ruin the noble character of the people of Igbogbo Kingdom and Ikorodu in general.
