EXCLUSIVE: Two Things You Probably Didn’t Know About Hermes

INSIDEMAINLAND – Hermes Chibueze Iyele, also known as Hermes, is the 22nd Housemate in the ongoing reality Tv show, Big Brother Season 7.

The Star, known for his bohemian looks, owing to his art background, has been seen by many to exude creativity.

Prior to his entry into the reality show, Hermes had the opportunity to perform some of his original dance pieces at reputable festivals in Lagos, Glasgow (Scotland’s western Lowlands) and Rotterdam (City in the Netherlands), and has also appeared in music videos for afrobeat stars including Burna Boy, Davido and Ajebo Hustlers.

However, there are two things we found out about the reality star.

1) Hermes Iyele was always misunderstood

A younger Hermes, though very brilliant, had running battles with teachers at Ogudu Grammar School, Oworonshoki.

He was reportedly rebellious, and this posed some difficulties in his academic pursuits.

Also, Hermes has been involved in Police fracas- a misconception due to his crazy looks.

2) He’s got royal backing

Hermes’ participation in the Big Brother Reality Show is fully backed and supported by Oworonshoki Community’s King, The Oloworonshoki of Oworonshoki, HRH. Babatunde Saliu.

The Oba, believed to have contributed financially to actualising Hermes Big Brother’s ambition, also offered his spiritual guidance and is hopeful that he is crowned the winner of the show. So, don’t mess with Hermes, guys.
