INSIDEMAINLAND – In order to ensure no road is left uncompleted, the Executive Chairman Kosofe Local Government, Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe has announced cutting off his numerous social engagements to supervise the remaining uncompleted road projects, even on weekends.
The ongoing 10 – road construction projects in the local government are fast nearing their completion, as the Kosofe Council boss keeps pressurizing the contractors and site Engineers to redouble their efforts towards putting finishing touches to the roads reconstruction.
Speaking at the unscheduled inspection of Abayomi Odubena Street, Ojota, the Executive Chairman, Kosofe Local Government, Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe said; “The contractors must meet the deadline in order to finally put an end to unwarranted stress being experienced by the residents. He added that the road after its completion would aid development in the area and give unhindered access to boundaries.”
The Council boss explained further that they could not afford to delay the completion of the road since the residents are looking forward to its commissioning and handing over.
