‘Awawa Boys’ back to terrorizing Agege community

The menace of cultism in Lagos is becoming worrisome across the state as the incessant attack and harassment of residents is still in occurrence, leaving residents in fear as their safety is compromised.

INSIDEMAINLAND has learned that a popular cult group known as ‘Awawa Boys’ are back to terrorizing Agege residents and their environs.

According to a tweet by a man identified as Bello (@Walebello28), he revealed that no fewer than 30 ‘Awawa Boys’ heavily armed with cutlasses and other weapons were seen around Agege.

In other development, the Lagos State Taskforce on environmental on Monday impounded 91 motorcycles popularly called Okada at Oba Ogunji Road in Ogba, and environs.

This is as the state government has moved to take decisive steps on what will be done about these motorcycle riders popularly referred to as Okada, whose activities have been of great concern to the state.
