Lagos Taskforce Intensifies Clampdown On Highway Okada Riders

More efforts to ensure smooth movement on the Lagos Highways have been intensified as the war against the mobility of commercial motorcyclists ‘Okada’ on the Lagos highways continues.

Operatives of the Lagos State Task Force yesterday, intensified a raid on Okada Riders plying the Oshodi-Apapa Expressway.

No fewer than 83 bikes were impounded by the task force operatives along the Oshodi-Apapa highway.

Recall that INSIDEMAINLAND recently reported that the team of Lagos State Taskforce carried out a raid on the commercial motorcyclists in restricted routes across Yaba, Oyingbo, and Surulere.

The Lagos State Task Force retrieved dangerous items from some of the riders as they tried to attack the officers.

Several motorcycles were also impounded by operatives of the task force as some unidentified commercial motorcyclists were also arrested.
