Plans to erect a new secondary school in Lagos Mainland Local Government are ongoing, the Lagos State Education District IV has revealed.
The representatives of State Education District IV who recently, visited the mainland has identified some strategic sites within the communities and are currently awaiting approval for a Senior Secondary school to be built on any of the sites.
In a statement by the Special Assistant Media and Publicity to the Chairman, Toheeb Dada, Yesterday, revealed that Omolola Essien led administration is driven to improving Infrastructure development among other things in the local government.
“The thoughts of having a new senior secondary school in few months in Lagos Mainland Local Government will bring relieve to Mainlanders, especially parents.
“Senior secondary education has been an important segment in every person’s life. It also serves as a means to potentially empower young boys and girls, raise a person’s economic status to name a few”. He added.
