The Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) has warned residents in their service areas to stay away from transformers and electric poles especially during heavy downpours in the raining season.

EKEDC made the call on their twitter handle @EKEDP, where they also urged residents to call emergency lines in case of any breaches in power distribution materials their area.
