The KAI Marshal of the Kick Against Indiscipline (KAI) Brigade, CP Gbemisola Akinpelu (Rtd) has expressed gratitude to the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu for consistently compensating beneficiaries of civil servants that passed away in the active service of the State.
The Marshal stated this today at the Command Headquarters, Bolade-Oshodi, during the presentation of a cheque to the beneficiary of one of the Agency’s operatives who died in active service.
She said, “Late Moshood Ayeni, one of our personnel who unfortunately died in active and lawful duty on Tuesday, 23rd of May, 2017, and passed on to the great beyond in an unfortunate which, which was largely due to the activities of illegal and defiant hawkers in the State”.
CP Akinpelu (rtd.) explained further that the officer’s death has further strengthened the Agency’s resolve to rid the State of hawkers, street trading and other environmental nuisances constituting a menace to the security and well-being of motorists in Lagos.
