Dubai returnees test positive for COVID-19 in Lagos – Abayomi

The Lagos State Commissioner for Health. professor Akin Abayomi has stated that 3 Dubai returnees in Lagos have tested positive for COVID-19 and are being treated in one of the isolation centers in Lagos.

Prof Abayomi made the statement on a tweet on his official twitter handle @ProfAkinAbayomi on Sunday.

In the tweet, Abayomi alluded that the Lagos State Government and its Ministry of Health will continue to adhere strictly to all the laid down protocols as regards returnees that are being airlifted from various countries landing in Lagos.

He also advised residents to endeavor to cooperate with the government by following all the laid down guidelines to stop the spread of the dreaded COVID-19 in Lagos State and the country at large.

The Dubai returnees are part of Nigerians abroad who were airlifted by the government weeks ago.
