BREAKING: LASG Arraigns “Jehovah Sharp Sharp” Archbishop For Violating Lockdown Order

The General Overseer of the Resurrection Praise Ministries for Africa a.k.a “Jehovah Sharp Sharp”, Archbishop Samson Benjamin, has been be arraigned for allegedly violating the lockdown order of the Lagos State government. 

The Cleric was arraigned before Magistrate Yewande Oshin at Court 1, Igbosere High Court, Lagos on Tuesday.

Archbishop Samson Benjamin, was arrested by the police on Tuesday and detained at the Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID), Yaba, Lagos State, Nigeria. 

Archbishop Benjamin allegedly led about a hundred (100) persons to the Chinese Embassy in Victoria Island on Tuesday, to protest the maltreatment of Nigerians in China.

He alleged that the Chinese were operating freely in Nigeria even though COVID-19 started in their country but have chosen to maltreat Nigerians and other races in their country.

Officials of the embassy, in their complaint, had sent a video clip of the alleged invasion to the police, which prompted operatives from the Victoria Island Division of the Police Force to mobilise to the scene to and effect the arrest.

Bail condition has been set and the case has been adjourned.
