The men of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) gallantly extinguished the fire outbreak experienced at a nylon factory, at 45 Clem Road, Ijaiye Bus Stop, Agbado Ijaiye, during the weekend.
According to LASEMA, the nylon producing factory was gutted by fire which immediate cause was attributed to electrical power surge. The Agency deployed men to the scene to quench the raging fire.
The fire was curtailed with the joint efforts of the LASEMA Response Team, the Lagos State fire service and the Rapid Response Squad.
In addition, there was no record of lost lives or injured persons.
Meanwhile, the LASEMA Response Team also recovered a Truck on fire at Agbowa, Sabo Ikorodu area earlier today. It was gathered that the truck loaded with papers and flammable materials caught fire.
The Lagos State Fire Service Odogunyan Station was called to the incident in collaborative efforts with the LASEMA Response Team.
The fire was completely extinguished through collaborative efforts, with no record of lost lives or injured persons
Furthermore, LASEMA recovers a 40feet container at Mobile Filling Station Otedola Bridge, an oil Tanker, and a pickup van involved in an accident at Abiola Garden Motor Ways Alapere.
Report reveals that a 40feet tanker and a ford pickup van were involved in an accident. Information gathered revealed that the tanker was on top speed and lost control before ramming into a parked vehicle.
