A Lagos Mainland resident, Mr Israel Adejola, was arraigned at the Ebute Meta Magistrates’ Court, Lagos Mainland, for videotaping a traffic warden while at his duty.

The suspect appeared before the court on a one count charge of recording a police officer on duty. He, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The Prosecutor, Inspector Emmanuel Silas, told the court that the offence was committed on January 17, 2020, at 8.00 p.m, at Orile Bus Stop, Iganmu, Lagos Mainland.

The defendant was however granted bail by the Magistrate, Mr T. Agbona in the sum of N10, 000, with one surety in like sum. He added that the surety must be gainfully employed and should be resident within the court’s jurisdiction.

The case has been adjourned till February 11, 2020, for further hearing.
