The administration of the Executive Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh, has called on all residents in Oshodi community and environs as well as private bodies to desist from encroaching into government properties in the community.
In a public statement, the council urged residents to secure necessary approval before any action is taken to use any government property.
“It has come to the notice of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government that some private individual is encroaching into the property of the local government without the legitimate authorization.
“The Council Authority wishes to use this medium to send a stern warning and to advise the general public that on no reason or circumstances should anyone encroach into the properties of the local government without approval from the appropriate quarters or putting the government in knowing before such action is taken,” the statement read.
The Council concluded that; “The local government is still very committed to partnering with private individual and corporate bodies towards realizing growth and development at the grassroots but not at the flagrant defiance to the principle of due process and law.”
