Nigeria without Petroleum Minister as Buhari inaugurates Executive Council

President Muhammadu Buhari has assigned portfolios to his 43 ministers on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at the State House, Abuja.

While naming Bayelsa’s Timipre Silva Minister of State for Petroleum. The President, however, failed to appoint a substantive Minister of Petroleum.

This action was first seen during the President’s firm term in office.
