Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has issued a strong warning signal to President Muhammadu Buhari should he attempt to arrest him.
“In the morning of June 8, 1998 Sani Abachi planned to arrest several notable people. By evening, he was dead. I encourage anybody that wants to arrest me to hurry up. I am not like Sowore. The God I serve neither sleeps nor slumbers,” Omokri said in a tweet via his verified twitter handle @renoomokri
Omokri who describes himself as Buhari’s Tormentor was responding to a comment by a follower @agbehoke who tweeted “May your fans not start a #freereno campaign” when he posted the tweet.
Omoyele Sowore, convener of the #RevolutionNow protest was on Saturday morning, August 3, 2019, arrested by officers of State Security Service in Lagos and has since been taken to their Headquarters in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
