Mainlanders react as Peruzzi apologises to Pamilerin

DMW signee, Tobechukwu Victor Okoh popularly known as Peruzzi, has apologised to Pamilerin Adegoke, a social media influencer, he assaulted at the weekend at a Bayelsa night club.

In a tweet via his handle @Peruzzi_Vibes, the singer wrote: “I did very wrong for yesterday slapping mr pamilerin, let my feelings get the best of me and I am very sorry. Apologies to mr pamilerin and also to the general public. I’d never get into such mess again. Love Only, I promise.”

The apology, has however drawn mixed reactions from Lagos Mainland fans saying that the singer should apologise in person rather than in a tweet.

A twitter user, @chikanels, while commenting on the entertainer’s post, said, “call him, ask to meetup and apologise in person. We are not resolving physical slap with a random tweet. You can do better.”

“You gave him real slap not Twitter slap. So you have to apologise to his face and not on Twitter,” said @funmikolz, another fan who also reacted.

Also coming from another fan who was yet to accept Peruzzi apology, she wrote via @EseleToluwani, “Carry your love, make you put your love for your pocket.”

For @olaoluphemy, he opined that the whole saga up on till the apology was one that was planned and premeditated by the singer.

“Me I don’t like this apology of a thing by Peruzzi to Pamilerin oo tbh, I feel its all intended, in his mind he’s like “let me teach him a lesson, las las I’d trend and I’d tender a public apology”, everybody would on but I don pass my message,” he said in a comment.
