Information reaching InsideMainland has it that some Nigerian Custom officer reportedly shot and injured two personnel of the Nigerian Airforce during an encounter at Gbaji joint checking points along Badagry expressway.
The incident reportedly happened last Thursday and the injured officers were identified as Corporal Waziri and Corporal Chidi Onyecheke.
According to a report by Badagry Prime, quite a number of people had been killed by gunshots from the law enforcement agents who are fond of indiscriminately shooting at motorists who ply the axis.
It was gathered that the Customs officials fire three times at close range in which two Air force officer were wounded with gun in head and second man in arm.

An eyewitness who craved anonymity said: “There was a sort of checking on the Airforce personnel’s Toyota Camry car before the crisis started. During the argument, the custom officer fired gun shots into the air, which led to a fracas with the two officers injured in the process.”
It was reported further that residents of the area revealed that the Customs officers along the ever busy road had no respect for human lives, alleging that an uncountable number of people had been killed due to their unprofessional behavior.

Confirming the incident, the Custom Public Relations Officer, Seme Command, Assistant Superintendent of Custom, Mr. Saidu Abudullahi said the shooting was not from officers under the Seme Command.
He noted that the culprits were attached to the Federal Operation Unit Zone A lkeja, Lagos Mainland.
