Again, entertainers call for donations for critically ill Lord of Ajasa

Nearly a month after InsideMainland reported the critical state of one of the pioneers of Yoruba rap music, Segun Osaniyi, aka Lord of Ajasa , and how his colleagues rallied around for funds to get him better healthcare, the rapper still requires urgent financial assistance.

Recall that Lord of Ajasa was first rushed to Ikorodu General Hospital, Ikorodu, Lagos Mainland, where his family and relatives were taking care of him.

At the time, popular singer cum event host, Alariwo of Africa was the first to go public about the financial burden of the illness on the rapper, seeking public donations to help him urgent peptic ulcer operation.

The bedridden rapper reportedly got help from his close colleagues such as ID Cabasa, Olamide, Reminisce among others. In addition, he was said to be responding to treatment and may not require surgery at the time.

Commenting on the development at the time, ID Cabasa tweeted that; “Bro Ajasa is recuperating and all the above mentioned have reached out and sent monies. We’ve been attending to him for more than a week now… He doesn’t need surgery as we speak and he’s responding to treatment… Thank you.”

However, the call for funds for the urgent treatment of the rapper has returned as he is reportedly in the Lagos State University Hospital, LUTH, Idi-Araba, where he is being treated.

According to Ajasa’s close sources, he currently requires surgery for Cholecystectomy and is in urgent need of financial support.

In a viral post on social media seeking for help for the rapper, Alariwo said; “He has been battling with the illness for a while and is due for surgery in six weeks. He however needs funds to undergo a surgery, known as Cholecystectomy which involves removing the gallbladder, so gallstones are not able to form again.”

“Supporting him financially to stay alive is the best remedy and support we all can give him now. I appeal to everyone to help save the life of this young man as we believe that no amount is too small. Your genuine act of kindness today can keep another life to see tomorrow,” the message concluded.
