Supporters and other well wishers of a chieftain of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya aka MC Oluomo stormed his home in Ajao Estate, Oshodi, Lagos Mainland, on Wednesday, January 30, 2018, for a thanksgiving service following his return home from abroad for treatment.
MC Oluomo had traveled to the United States for medical treatment after being attacked at the rally of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ikeja, Lagos Mainland.
At the time, he was rushed to EKO Hospital where he was given emergency medical care before his discharge and subsequent trip abroad.
During the service held at his residence, hundreds of supporters singed his praises and expressed their delight at his quick recovery.
Recall that few days after his attack at the rally, news went rife on social media alleging his death.
The rumour was quickly dispelled by his daughter, Aduke Akinsanya who stressed that her father was alive and responding to treatment.
