Auditions for the fourth season of reality TV Show, Big Brother Naija, commenced across eight (8) cities in Nigeria today, February 1, 2018, with Adeniyi Jones in Ikeja, Lagos Mainland, playing host to hundreds of aspirants who into to partake in the reality show.
Presently, the turnout of youths seeking to be auditioned for the popular show is massive across the auditioning venues and Ikeja is currently on lockdown.
According to the handlers of the show, the auditions will hold today and tomorrow in Lagos, Abuja, Calabar, Ibadan, Benin, Warri, Port Harcourt, Enugu and these centres have already been greeted by a large number of aspirants seeking to be selected as the finalists.
The Lagos audition centre has received the highest number of people. InsideMainland learnt that people had gathered at the venue since midnight and has also resulted to gridlock in the area.
It was further gathered that several people had been collapsing at the venue owing to the long wait by those intending to be auditioned.
Several videos emerging online show aspirants climbing the aluminum fence trying to gain entrance into the venue.
In addition, the development has led to a heavy traffic gridlock in Adeniyi Jones, Allen Avenue, Alausa, Akilo Road and other parts of Ikeja with motorists trapped in the traffic.
Meanwhile, the lucky finalists for BBNaija 2019 would battle for a grand prize of 45 million naira and other endorsement deals, exposing them to the entertainment world of fame and fortune.
The theme for this year’s event or the number of housemates has not been determined yet but what we can tell you is that it would be hosted in Lagos.
The last edition which held in South Africa was themed “Double Wahala” and was won by Miracle Igbokwe Ikechukwu after surviving a stiff 90-day competition from fellow housemates like Cee-C, Tobi, Alex, Nina among others.
