Here’s what Ambode said about Lagos marathon, 2019 elections

Ahead of the build up to the forthcoming Lagos Access Bank Marathon and the 2019 general election, Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, has urged residents to corporate with security agencies in keeping the peace and ensuring safety of lives and property.

The Governor made this known shortly after holding a Security Council meeting with critical stakeholders in Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos Mainland, today, Monday, January 28, 2019.

Ambode who chaired the meeting which had all heads of security agencies in attendance, particularly sought the cooperation of residents for the Lagos Marathon coming up on February 2, 2019, urging them to comply with the restriction of vehicular & human movement.

Addressing journalist shortly after the meeting, the Governor said the security agencies have assured that they would leave no stone unturned to ensure that the peace enjoyed in the State would not be compromised.

The Lagos Access Bank Marathon and the general election will hold in February 2019.
