There was apprehension in Magodo, Lagos Mainland, earlier today, Thursday, January 24, 2019, following a fire outbreak in the axis.
It was learnt that the building located on Ashafa Street, Magodo Shangisha was gutted by fire which affected parts of the building.
The incident occurred when it was raining in some parts of Lagos and it led to panic among occupants of the building when the fire started.
The inferno was put out by men of Lagos State Fire Service with support from the emergency team of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), InsideMainland learnt.
In addition, the Commander RRS, ACP Tunji Disu alongside some officers of the agency visited the scene of incident to assess the situation.
