RRS Saves Man From Committing Suicide On Third Mainland Bridge

The operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the Lagos State Police Command have rescued a man who attempted to commit suicide on Third Mainland Bridge today, Tuesday, January 15, 2019.

According to the RRS, the yet-to-be-identified man was prevented from plunging into the lagoon by officers who were on patrol duty along the popular Third Mainland Bridge.

Sharing the photos of the man in which his face was blurred, the RRS said; “Attempted Suicide: RRS officers on patrol along Third Mainland Bridge have prevented a man from jumping into the lagoon in a suicide attempt.”

The agency, however, revealed that the man had been handed over to the Adekunle Police Station for investigation.
