Following the recent attack on the chieftain of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya aka MC Oluomo during the All Progressives Congress (APC) rally in Lagos, there are indications that he might be flown abroad for treatment.
Recall that InsideMainland reported how MC Oluomo was stabbed during the political event and the rumours of his alleged death which was dispelled by his daughter, Aduke Akinsanya.
Giving details of his health status, a close aide of the union leader, told Punch Metro that he might travel abroad any time soon as plans had been concluded for his treatment by specialist in the United States.
MC Oluomo after his attack was rushed to EKO Hospital where he immediately got urgent medical care.
Meanwhile, the operatives of the Lagos State Task Force have debunked the viral news spreading across social media that the NURTW boss has passed on.
In a statement signed by the agency’s Head of Public Affairs, Mr. Adebayo Taofiq and obtained by InsideMainland, the agency urged residents to go about their daily activities following fears of an impending attack that could trail the demise of the NURTW chieftain.
