Shocking: Mainland based DJ commits suicide by drinking insecticide

The Nigerian entertainment industry was thrown into a deep shock following the news of the death of a Lagos Mainland based disc jockey, Seun Omogaji who took his own life.

According to reports, the disc jockey who treated music enthusiasts and other fun seekers to great performance at a recent event held during the festive season on the Mainland committed suicide by drinking a popular insecticide.

Prior to taking his own life, he shared a cryptic post on his Instagram page saying there is a “twist to last respect” people give their loved ones.

The post via his handle, @djxgee reads; “Okay there is a twist to this last respect ppl give to their loved ones when gone.
Black as signs of sadness.. but in my case please Rock WHITE Cos i love this colour so much.

“To all have made smiled and to those i have pissed off trust me im only being Human. Enikorewa i love u so much, Eriayo u name sums it all up u are truly d reason for my Joy.

“Omobolanle ajoke u know I care.. Moradeke my mum may my God heal u and to my in-Laws Stay Blessed Always.”

Since the news of him taking his own life broke, fans, friends and relatives of the deceased disc jockey have continued to mourn his death.

Some of the celebrities who commented on his death revealed that they are still in shock of the development and wondering why he decided to commit the act.

Unconfirmed sources say the decision to commit suicide may be connected to the recent happenings between the deceased and his wife.

InsideMainland also gathered that he was rushed to the hospital for urgent care but couldn’t survive it as the insecticide he drank had already caused him too much damage.

Trained under legendary disc jockey, Jimmy Jatt, the deceased is survived by his children, wife and aged mum.
