There is currently apprehension around the domestic terminal of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos Mainland, following the fire incident at the Forte Oil filling station located within the premises of the airport.
It was gathered that the fire started moments ago with attendants and other persons around the filling station thrown into panic.
InsideMainland cannot independently verify the cause of the inferno at the filling station at the time of filing this report.
Meanwhile, it was learnt that firefighters from the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) and other rescue officers are battling to put out the fire at the moment.
The fire incident has affected vehicular movement around the domestic terminal as the rescue officers have blocked movement to the area.
