Reports have it that some retirees living in a staff quarters owned by the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) have reportedly had their homes destroyed following an invasion by officials in Ikeja, Lagos Mainland.
It was learnt that the incident occurred on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, with officials of FAAN destroying houses occupied by the retirees.
In a video shared online by a lady, she stated that her 93-year-old grandmother is among the residents affected by a hostile eviction allegedly carried out by FAAN staff.
In the clip, the lady requested for an explanation concerning the unexpected visit which was ignored by the angry members of staff that destroyed the properties.
Also, she stated there is an ongoing case between FAAN and her father who worked with the organization for a 30-year period.
