BEWARE! Mainland resident narrates horrific robbery experience on Maryland-Ojota bridge

In the aftermath of the various crimes witnessed across the state and the number of residents that have suffered different fates in the hands of the criminals, a resident of the Lagos Mainland has taken to social media to share his horrific experience in the hands of dare-devil robbers.

In a series of posts shared on microblogging site Twitter, the user, @Jhybolar, narrated how he sustained a broken nose following an attack from traffic robbers along the popular Odo-Iya Alaro bridge, in the Ojota end of Lagos Mainland.

According to him; “My offence at Odo Iya Alaro on 30th Aug. 2002 was charging my phone in the car while someone said bring the phone and I respond it’s not yours. I was saved by God from almost 6 hefty guys who beat me went back under the bridge.”

He stated that the robbers were dreadful and at one time, killed a Police officer and dumped his corpse in the river.

Read his series of tweets below.

I witness a horrific robbery incident at Apongbon sime years back, the robbers smashed the window glass of their victim and robbed him of all his valuables. They all walked majestically to d other side. This was prior to @rrslagos767 men standby.

If the victim had prepared to such attack and smack one of them with GOOD 10by10 iron road on the head and he died while he had his scar shattered the law will say he kill or not ? A lot of things need to be changed in Nigeria Constitution and criminal code.

Till date my son keep asking me what happend to my stitched nose, my offence at Odo iya alaro on 30th Aug. 2002 was charging my phone in d car while some1 said bring d phone & I respond it’s not urs. I was saved by God frm almost 6 hefty guys who beat me went back to under bridge.

The robbers under Odo Iya alaro bridge were so dreadful until they killed a policeman and dump his corpse at d river. Heaven made another policeman to see d corpse & they were dealt with. But they’ve moved to Ojota new garage area(dump site) for their activities. Verify this
