JUST IN: Okada riders quit Bariga/Somolu roads for fear of reprisal attack over Small Jaypron’s killing

Following the cult-related attack at a political gathering held by Hon. Ademorin Kuye in Obanikoro community, Lagos Mainland, which led to the killings of a notorious cultist Ibrahim Balogun known popularly as Small Jaypron, one Solomon and Yesuru, okada riders in the have quit the community roads over fears of reprisal attacks.

Sources told InsideMainland that the riders who ply the communal roads linking Somolu-Bariga from the Ikorodu expressway and other ends of the community have vacated the roads for fear of been caught in the crossfire.

This development has led to a panic among residents of the community following the difficulties associated with accessing their various homes without the regular okada riders, InsideMainland learnt.

At the moment, residents using the roads struggle to get available danfo buses and keke napep who InsideMainland also learnt will leave the roads any moment from now.

Meanwhile, there is the presence of some security operatives attached to the Lagos State Police Command and men of the Nigerian army in a bid to prevent a reoccurrence of the bloody cult clash.
