IN EJIGBO: Armed bandits invade home of Lagos Commissioner for Information & Strategy

Information reaching InsideMainland has it that some suspected armed bandits invaded the home of the Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Hon. Kehinde Bamigbetan, at midnight today, Wednesday, October 9, 2018.

According to sources, the robbers numbering about seven scaled the fence of the Ejigbo, Lagos Mainland, home of the politician to gain entrance into the premises.

During the process, the bandits were said to have threatened the security guard attached to the house with a gun.

Although the robbers met the absence of the Commissioner and his family, they pounced on the security guard beating him mercilessly.

In addition, sources said the robbers visited other homes on Ona-Iwa Mimo street, Ejigbo, Lagos Mainland, robbing unsuspecting residents of their valuables.

In a direct response to the development, the Ejigbo LCDA Chairman, Hon. Monsuru Bello, flanked by government officials and Policemen from the Ejigbo police division visited the home of the politician.

“The police have reached out to affected members of the area and has commenced the search for those behind the robbery,” a source said.
