VIDEO: Burning van causes heavy gridlock on Third Mainland Bridge

Motorists plying the usually busy Third Mainland Bridge, Lagos, earlier today, Wednesday, August 8, 2018, had a difficult time using the axis as a result of a fire incident in the axis.

It was learnt that a minivan caught fire on the expressway leading to traffic build up on the bridge.

Commenting on the incident, the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) via its @lasemasocial, noted that the fire started at the Adekunle axis of the bridge.

Rescue officers were also deployed immediately to the scene to tend to the situation.
