Information reaching us at InsideMainland has it that scores of motorists and road users are feared dead following an auto accident that occurred at the popular Ojuelegba bridge, Lagos Mainland, few moments ago.
According to reports, the accident occurred after a fully loaded container truck fell off the bridge already taken over by trucks attempting to connect the Apapa end of Lagos Mainland through Ojuelegba-Barracks.
The truck reportedly fell on three commercial buses and a private car under the bridge with many passengers believed to be trapped, Channels reports.
Presently, officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), the Nigerian Red Cross and the Nigeria Police are currently on ground and are carrying out search and rescue operations.
