Why Political commentator, Jimi Disu doesn’t want Femi Gbaja to run in Surulere

Popular political commentator and radio show host, Jimi Disu has said that the lawmaker representing Surulere Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila must not run for office for the fifth term.

Disu who is an elder cousin to the lawmaker is currently persuading him to forget his ambition after he has done four terms in the House of Representatives.

In a post shared via Disu’s official website, the political commentator that ‘Gbaja’ as Gbajamiala is fondly called “should allow another person to also contribute his or her quota to the development of Surulere Constituency.”

The comment by Jimi Disu is however yet to draw any reaction from Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila or his camp.

Calls and text from InsideMainland to an aide of the lawmaker for his comments were not returned as at press time.

Recall that stakeholders and including fellow lawmakers in the Federal House of Representatives had earlier endorsed Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila to run for office for the fifth term.
