There was confusion around the popular Ikeja Computer Village, Lagos Mainland, today, Sunday, April 29, 2018, after a commercial bus known popularly as danfo skidded off the overhead bridge in the area.
Eyewitness accounts have it that the driver of the commercial bus and another private salon car were on high speed while on the bridge before the shocking accident occurred.
It was gathered that one of the drivers applied his brakes while on high speed before colliding with the culvert on the overhead bridge which led to his bus falling off the bridge.
Upon noticing the incident, onlookers immediately rushed to tend to the few passengers in the bus at the time of the accident.
Luckily, there were no casualties in the accident but the danfo driver was critically injured.
He was immediately given first aid by concerned motorists while a distress call was made to the rescue team of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA).
