APC Split: Here’s what APC leaders did in Alimosho community

In the aftermath of the alleged rift and division in the All Progressives Congress (APC), the leaders of the party in Alimosho Federal Constituency, Lagos Mainland, yesterday, Saturday, March 10, 2018, came out in large numbers to denounce the rumour of division in their fold.

Amid singing and dancing at a news conference held at the Lagos West Senatorial Office of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, in Ikeja, Lagos Mainland, the leaders said the reports of division were figments of imagination of a section of the social media.

The party leaders from Alimosho zone who affirmed their loyalty to the leadership structure of the party in the State also used the opportunity to endorse Ambode for a second term in office.

Speaking for the group, the APC Organising Secretary in the state, Mr. Abdullahi Enilolomo said the party leaders were surprised by the viral social media reports that the APC members in the constituency were in disarray.

In attendance at the event were prominent APC members and government officials present include the Deputy Governor, Mrs Idiat Adebule, former deputy governor, Mrs Sarah Sosan, state party chairman, Chief Henry Ajomale, Sen. Olamilekan Solomon (Lagos West) and a former minister, Sen. Musiliu Obanikoro.

Others were Sen. Ganiu Solomon; National Woman Leader of the party, Chief Kemi Nelson; Commissioner for Information and Strategy in the state, Mr Kehinde Bamgbetan, and members of the state assembly including, Mr Bisi Yusuf (Alimosho 1).
