Just In: Fire guts factory, residential buildings in Agege – See photos

Reports reaching InsideMainland have it that residents of Orile – Agege community were thrown into confusion following an inferno that gutted a factory and houses in the community earlier today, Wednesday, March 7, 2018.

According to reports, the fire started from a nylon production factory located on Egbatedo Street, Orile-Agege, before spreading to other residential buildings within the area.

Although the cause of fire cannot be ascertained the residents and the factory workers, the inferno was put out by the timely response of the rescue team of the Lagos Fire Service Fighters, Agege TV reports.

It was learnt that before the fire was put out, it had already gutted parts of the factory as well as some residential buildings surrounding the factory.

Properties worth millions of naira were said to have been destroyed in the inferno with property owners in the area presently counting their losses.
