Check out how Nigeria’s historic Bobsled Team were welcomed in Lagos

The history-making Nigerian Bobsled Team to the just concluded Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, were treated to a rousing welcome at the Muritala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA), Ikeja, Lagos Mainland today, Thursday, March 1, 2018.

The Nigerian team to Pyeongchang, South Korea was led by Bobsled Driver, Seun Adigun comprising Ngozi Onwumere, Akuoma Omeoga and Simi Adeagbo.

They were treated to a hero’s welcome at the airport by a reception party put together by the Temple Management Company (TMC), the marketing agency of the Bobsled & Skeleton Federation of Nigeria (BSFN).

Among the dignitaries that came to receive them were notable personalities such as Bisola Aiyeola, Tee-Y Mix, Jeff Akoh among several others.

Recall that Nigeria’s Women’s Bobsled and Skeleton Team became the first to qualify for the Winter Olympics. During the process, the team secured a major sponsorship deal with leading brands across the country.
