Information reaching us at InsideMainland has it that a Dana Air flight which left Lagos for Port Harcourt a few hours ago has crash landed in Port Harcourt.
It was gathered that the crash occurred after the pilot of the aircraft tried to radio air control in Port Harcourt but got no response. He had to skew towards the grass to avoid a fire leading to a burst to one of the tyres of the aircraft, Kanya Daily reports.
In the process, the plane skidded off about 200 meters and one of the Wings got damaged.
Mainlanders who have families and relatives enroute Port Harcourt should stay calm as InsideMainland gathered all passengers are safe with no one injured.
Meanwhile, the Port Harcourt airport is presently closed, InsideMainland gathered.
Recall that just few days ago, another Dana Air plane had its exit door come off just after it landed. This present situation has generated several reactions on social media with users requesting that the airline management take prompt action.
