IN SURULERE: Trouble looms over late musician’s property

Years after the death of ace music producer cum singer, Babatunde Okungbowa a.k.a OJB Jezreel, there has been an ongoing rift over his prized house.

According to reports, the house located on Gbaja Street, Surulere, Lagos Mainland, has been causing lots of trouble lately.

Late OJB’s brothers are instigating the trouble with his immediate elder brother, Tony Okungbowa named as a major player in the rift, TNG reports.

An inscription; ‘This House is Not for Sale’ has been conspicuously written on the gate of the house which has a four-bedroom bungalow, a duplex and a shop.

“I know the day they came to write this thing, na OJB brother send boys to come write and they almost fought with his wife, Mabel because she didn’t want them to write it” a resident of the community told reporters.

It would be recalled that before OJB’s death, he made plans to sell the house for a reported fee of N50m to a commercial bank. He, however, died a day after following months of battling a kidney related disease.
