Like Ikorodu – Sagamu road, dilapidated Oba Sekunmade road also gets govt attention

The Lagos State Government yesterday, Friday, January 12, 2018, commenced palliative repair on some roads in Ikorodu Division.

The commencement of the repair works stemmed from the recent tour of the dilapidated roads by the the representative of Ikorodu Constituency I and the Majority Leader of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Sanai Agunbiade.

While palliative works commenced on the Ikorodu – Sagamu road, workers were also seen on site on the decrepit Oba Sekumade road, Ikorodu, Lagos Mainland.

The repair works which was facilitated by Hon. Agunbiade is been carried out by officials of the Lagos State Public Works Corporation (LSPWC).

The roads are being graded before the workers will then add granite to ensure residents and motorists use the road with ease.

Recall that InsideMainland had earlier reported the commencement of palliative repair works on the Ikorodu – Sagamu road that have been in a terrible state for over a decade.
