Power in your hands; Here is how you can get the Lagos State govt to fix your roads – see the number to call

Over the years, residents of the suburban communities on the Lagos Mainland and other parts of Lagos have continually expressed their discontent at the huge gap between the communities and the government thereby affecting how these residents communicate with the latter.

In addition, this huge gap has affected governance and general developmental growth across the communities.

With the emergence of social media and other technological advancements, concerned residents have discovered new ways to engage the government whilst also providing a platform for interaction.

To address the issue of deplorable roads in Lagos Mainland and other parts of the State, the government through the Lagos State Public Works Corporation has commenced a drive to involve residents in fixing of roads in the state.

In order to ensure proper planning, the Corporation has publicly announced an official channel where residents can channel their complaints to.

1. Take a picture of the road

2. Do a detailed caption of the road including the location and landmark

3. Send the message via WhatsApp to the official number 07088881841

Meanwhile, it should be noted that people shouldn’t call the number but only send WhatsApp messages on their complaints.

However at intervals when Lagos Mainland residents discover a delay in the response to complaints sent to the Corporation, such residents can email enquiry@insidemailand.com or contact 09022222226 via WhatsApp to ensure for proper monitoring and tracking.
