Motorists and other commuters plying the usually busy Ketu bus stop, Lagos Mainland swam through a pool of water due to the torrential rainfall witnessed across parts of the state earlier today, Sunday, October 22, 2017.
InsideMainland gathered that the entire stretch of Ketu bus stop to Ile – Ile in Kosofe was flooded with motorists trapped in the water.
Some of the car owners in the expressway had their cars filled with water with a host of others struggling to enter into nearby petrol stations to seek cover.
Meanwhile, the incident has led to a heavy gridlock in the axis with the traffic jam stretching to Owode –Onirin.
Presently, traffic officials attached to the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) alongside security operatives are located at different spots in the affected areas to direct traffic flow.
