We will fix the power outage, EKEDC tells affected residents

On Tuesday, 17, 2017, the management of Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) expressed their displeasure over the power outage in Orile and Surulere areas of Lagos Mainland as it was due to multiple faults on 11KV feeder that supplies power to the area.

The company’s General Manager, Corporate Communications, Mr Godwin Idemudia in his statement urged consumers in the affected areas to bear with the situation till solution is proffered.

“We apologise for the power outage being experienced by our customers at Kernnel Street, Imam Dauda, Johnson Street, Bode Thomas, Baco Feeder in Orile and Surulere areas.

“We appeal to all affected by the outage to please bear with the situation while the outage lasts, optimal service delivery and customer satisfaction would always be our guiding principle.’’ Idemudia he added.

Idemiu said that the company’s team of engineers and technicians were already on ground to rectify the fault and restore electricity supply to the areas.
