In celebration of the ‘Youth Impact Week 2017’ Lufthansa Group and Help Alliance have teamed up with University of Lagos, Unilag, Akoka, Lagos Mainland, to make 200 Unilag students beneficiaries of the One week coaching programme, which aimed at training participant to develop sustainable business models using different innovative techniques.
The event has been scheduled to take place within the institutions premises starting from October 20 and 26, 2017.
“We are excited to have a team of UNILAG professionals, Lufthansa international staff and other experts to come together with about around 200 students to develop their skills, broaden and take on the tasks of thinking about solutions for socio-economic challenges right here,” says i, Lufthansa General Manager Nigeria.
Director, Entrepreneurship Centre, UNILAG, Dr. Sunday Adebisi, stressed: “It is exciting to have the Impact Week in Nigeria and more importantly at the University of Lagos to support a life-changing experience for the lecturers and students by Lufthansa Germany Airlines.
“The Impact Week is aimed at training students, who generally have great untapped ideas, creative energy and an eagerness to learn and improve the environment. This six-day event, according to the organizers, will help participants to find, test and develop business ideas with great innovation.
Meanwhile Hakeem Jimoh, of Lion Sun Consulting, acting on behalf of Lufthansa – German Airlines, revealed that UNILAG will be responsible for the selection of participating students from a variety of faculties.
