Felabration 2017 gets climatic end as Femi Kuti, Wizkid, Sauti Sol, others, deliver spectacular performances

The last day of Felabration 2017 will not be forgotten easily for movie lovers and other afrobeat enthusiasts after they were all treated to scintillating performances from music legend, Femi Kuti alongside some of the finest superstars from across the African continent.

The night opened in its usual style with upcoming singers taking the stage at intervals to delight the onlookers. This was followed by other established acts such as Oritsefemi, Ycee, and Junior Boy among others as the top casts who all fascinated the guests by performing a medley of their hit singles.

The night however moved from south to north after Femi Kuti, son of late legendary singer, Fela Kuti, mounted the stage to deliver a mind-blowing performance.

Femi, supported by his Egypt 80 band performed a host of his hit singles which left the crowd screaming and singing along with him. The moment also served Femi the opportunity to perform his newly recorded song, ‘One People One World’ to hundreds of fans who cheered him while he delivered an energy sapping performance on stage.

He took the attendees on another realm after a played his saxophone on one key for several minutes with the audience screaming his name.

The night took another thrilling turn after Burna Boy was followed immediately on stage by pop sensation, Wizkid who thrilled guests with a performance that will last in their memories for a lifetime.

The ‘Ojuelegba’ crooner delivered an electrifying performance much to the delight of onlookers and he was joined afterwards by Femi Kuti for a duet of ‘Jaiye Jaiye’.

Other superstars like Sir Shina Peters, Pasuma Wonder, Omawumi, Malaika, Adekunle Gold, Simi, Wande Coal, Bez, Black Magic, Praiz, Mz Kiss, Sound Sultan, Ice Prince, Reminisce, Solid Star, Seun Kuti, Small Doctor, Terry Akpala, and Runtown amongst others also graced the Felabration 2017 stage this year.

Over the years Felabration has attracted many high-class musical acts from all over the world like Hugh Masakela, Femi Kuti, Lucky Dube, Awilo Longomba, Baba Maal, Les Nubians, King Sunny Ade, Lagbaja, Asa and 2baba, to name a few.

Nigeria’s fastest growing stout brand, Legend Extra Stout also been joining millions of Nigerians in the weeklong musical event as the brand is bringing its realness and uniqueness to Felabration.
