Pipeline leakage: Ojokoro lawmakers inspect affected communities

Days after residents of Abule Egba and other communities in Ojokoro LCDA, Lagos Mainland complained of pipeline leakage affected a large chunk of boreholes in the community, lawmakers in the area have swiftly responded to their cries.

Earlier today, Saturday, October 7, 2017, the lawmakers led by Hon. Rasheed Makinde, who represents the constituency at the Lagos State House of Assembly embarked on an inspection tour to affected areas in the community.

During the visit, the lawmakers assured affected residents that the government will swiftly intervene to find lasting solutions to the leakage.

InsideMainland gathered exclusively that work will commence on cleaning the affected communities in few weeks.

Meanwhile, the lawmakers urged the residents to report cases of leakages and other suspicions to the relevant government agencies for prompt action.
