Two siblings found wandering at Cement community – Agege

The operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) have confirmed that two siblings found wandering along Cement bus stop along Lagos – Abeokuta expressway have been taken to the Dopemu Police station.

It was learnt that the children aged ten and six years were brought to the RRS officers on patrol in the area by a good Samaritan who found them loitering around the expressway.

According to the children, they were brought to Lagos on Monday, October 2, 2017, from Igbo Ora by their father, a tricycle operator, for them to stay with him in Lagos.

They boarded a vehicle from their location immediately their father left home but missed their way and could not give specific address or street of where they are staying, the Police source said.

Meanwhile, the children have since been handed over to security officers at Dopemu Police Station with efforts to reunite them with their father underway.

Residents with adequate information on how to facilitate the children’s reunion with their father are advised to visit the Dopemu Police Station.
