Festival of colours as Oba of Igbogbo – Ikorodu celebrates Ojude Oba 2017

It was amidst pomp and pageantry that the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo – Ikorodu community, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Barr.) Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali, Emugoriade I celebrated the 2017 edition of the annual Ojude Oba festival yesterday, Sunday, September 3, 2017.

The event which held at the Adeboruwa’s Palace, Igbogbo, Ikorodu, is an annual gathering of Muslim faithfuls and other dignitaries from across Igbogbo and environs to mark the Eid celebrations.

The event, put together by Igbogbo Muslims Community (IMCO) features Muslim leaders and groups taking turns to pay homage to the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo. This was then followed by a moment where the monarch held a bazaar for every present with enough to eat and drink.

Attendees at the event include the Odofin of Igbogbo, High Chief Tajudeen Alade Duduyemi Onasanya, Former Minister of Works, Seye Ogunlewe, Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku Local Council Development Area, Comrade Sesan Daini, Hon. Titilola Gboyega, Hon. Sefiudeen Ogunyemi, Alhaji Sikiru Andu, Chief Imam, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, and Alhaji Yahya Andu among several others.
