Dilapidated Adeyeri Owuyo Street in Ikorodu to be fixed in 21 days

Residents and motorists who ply the decrepit Adeyeri Owuyo Street located few meters away from the popular Haruna bus stop can now heave a sigh of relief as the Ikorodu Local Government has announced the road will be fixed and ready for use in twenty-one days.

Speaking on the development, the newly elected chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Hon. Wasiu Adeshina said the council has entered into a partnership with Zenith Bank Plc on the rehabilitation of the street which serves as an access road to Lowa, Solomade, and other parts of Ikorodu community.

Hon. Adeshina disclosed that the rehabilitation of the road is part of the campaign promises made by his party during his electioneering campaign.

The council boss while assuring that the rehabilitation work will be completed in twenty-one days stressed that no Ward in the local government will be left out in the provision of required facilities irrespective of political affiliation.

Meanwhile, the Vice Chairman of the local government, Princess Folashade Grace Olabanji-Oba in her remarks said Ikorodu residents will benefit from good governance as the council has put together plans to provide adequate health facilities, drainage, qualitative education, bursary awards, poverty alleviation programmes and more without discrimination.
